MOC: SkyThunder ( Skyquake )

Back with a new, really old MOC of mine and currently the tallest in my collection ( Gorodarh doesn't counts since he's now in pieces ). Now this MOC is a pretty special one, aside that he was created when i got two Dragon Bolt sets and wanted to see if I can make a bigger Dragon Bolt, and I can say I was successful, but also that he got two bios, you will see soon what I mean.

The first bio is, obviously, being placed in the Bionicle/Hero Factory universe where he is a where he is the biggest species of dragon to ever be discovered on Spherus Magna. Although it was ,,found" after it attack New Atero for reasons yet unknown, it is believed that it hasn't been on the planet all the time. In some regions, Agori elders tell stories about a monstrous beast that ,,descended" from one of the two moons, the green one more exactly which was Bota Magna and , as they say, ,,shacked the very skies, mountains and lands alike with every flap of its wings", the reason for why they nicknamed the beast SkyThunder. It is know that on Bota Magna there have been thousands of species of reptilian creatures inhabiting the lush forest and landscapes and that still roam in the present days and there are lots of known species of dragons, the best well known being the mythical Kanohi Dragon, so it could make sense that SkyThunder may originate from there. However, many Matoran tales from the land of Voya Nui depict a similar beast that ,,raised from the seas themselves, blocking the very Sun itself with its towering sizes and shacking the land with only a flap of its majestic, yet deadly wings and rain and storms coming close from its wicked tail". This might suggest that SkyThunder may in fact originate from Aqua Magna and, through unknown ways, migrated towards Bota Magna. But this raises another question. It says that it ,,raised from the seas" therefore suggesting that it mignt have camed from deep below the surface, more exactly the Great Spirit Robot. But no mention of such a creature exist in any Matoran tales from inside the Great Spirit Robot. Could this monster be some sort of mutation ? A dragon that tried to come out from the Great Spirit Robot and was exposed to mutagenic substance that turned it into what it is right now ? Or is it something else entirely ? No one may ever know the true answer, but what it is know is that SkyThunder is a true threat to anyone and anything that dares to challenge him, being able to control and use the weather and electricity itself as its weapons, making it a true force to be reckoned with.


Now on with the second Bio and this one is much more... different taking place in a world that I'm pretty sure everyone heard of. Many love it, many hate it, but yes in the Equestrian world. So for many millennias, there have been tales of a gigantic dragon said to be king of all drakes alike. This beast was said to terrorize entire villages, towns, cities and empires, stealing everything it pleased and no one could do anything to stop it and only leaving havoc in its weak. Not even the all mighty Faust could stop the beast, her magic not even making the dragon flinch, but only annoy it. The only thing to do was to live with it, to try to resist every of its attacks and evacuate the areas as fast as they could. The one empire that was hitted the hardest was the Crystal Empire, due to the large amount of crystals that made it the perfect target for the beast. Roads, houses and even the town folks themselves were all stolen and taken far away to the layer of the dragon, the very royalties themselves couldn't do a thing to stop it. It was a truly dark age for Equestria and all hopes were being lost, every pony on the planet living in paranoia that in every second of the day they might hear the ear piercing thunders of the dragon coming towards them and having to run for there lives. However, everything changed in one day when the beast was said to went in a deep slumber in its layer and this was the sight to everyone that there nightmare has finally ended. But the deep scars remained impeded in every ponies minds, passing on the tales and keeping alive the legend of the drake that even there creator could not stop, the name that that they gave it still sending chills down to everyone that hears it even to the newer generations for some reasons, the name of the monster that could not be stopped and the one true king and god of all the drakes and the sky itself, Skyquake.

And so, for nearly 30.000 years, the world has been in peace and to never experience the true horrors that there ancestors had to endure....that was, until in one dreaded night when a massive storm like no pony has ever seen raged across the Crystal Empire, brought by a beast everyone thought was just a legend. And with its entire rampage and taking everything that it saw made from crystal, it also attacked the castle and stole the most valuable and precious treasure of them all: the Crystal Heart. Not even the most powerful mages or even Candace coud do a thing, barely even making a mark on the thick, blue scales of the invader and any spell they tried didn't had an effect, the very energy of the beast being far to overwhelming even for an Alicorn. And so it took off and disappearing in the clouded, night sky just like it appeared. But they couldn't let things like this, with Skyquake possessing there most important artifact and let it get away with it, and that's when a young princess with her friends decided to go on a recover party to take it back. And although it was a long trip to even find the layer of the beast and sneak in to take the Crystal Heart back without waking up the gargantuan drake, Twilight and her friends were able to retrieve it and bring it back to Candace, but little did they knew was that Skyquake even asleep could feel the faintest smell, especially that of a pony, and whenhe for a second woke up and felt the scent and couldn't feal the energy of the Crystal Heart anymore, he (literally) exploded in anger and went after it at the exact location he knew it would be. And once he arrived, Twilight and everyone else could now see, in full daylight, the true horror and terror this dragon was and the towering size that it was and the powers it had, easily smashing open the protective force field and the very sky being ripped apart by the thunders and lightning bolts it summoned. After lots of attempts to make it draw back or even calme it down, not even Fluter Shy's Stare working a bit, they eventually were able to talk to it since unlike any other drake, this one was not ruled by animalistic instincts and had true sentience to it. After lots of negotiations, they finally came to an agreement: if he let them keep the Crystal Heart, then the Crystal Emire shall let him tap into there secret reservs of crystals for as long as he want to as long as he keeps his promise including taking there largest crystal ever, the Proxima Diamond. However, despite all of this, they all know that now that the legends were all so true and that Skyquake is back, they all must be prepared for anything this god of destruction might bring over there world.


Also, just so you might have a general idea how huge SkyThunder/Skyquake is, he's essentially twice as big and tall as the Empire State Building. You make the math on how tall he is in both worlds.

And for those who are wondering NO, there is no connection between SkyThunder from the Bionicle/HF universe and his version from Equestria, I just thought I should just make him two characters in one, but not having anything related to each other or will ever have (don't you even think).
